In my last post i completely forgot to mention that i watched Black Swan last night. it is an amazing movie indeed and i'm sure Nathalie Portman will get an Oscar for it. however because of all the great reviews i expected a little more. but i still enjoyed it. 

the theatre was crowded. i think every single seat was taken and to be honest i much rather sit alone in the cinema. there was some weird guy who always sneezed, it was pretty annoying. but anyway. 

i still hate my cheap camera because it makes me look ugly (or perhaps i am that ugly in RL?!)...

tomorrow i have to get up at 5am for my lecture (boooh) but at least i have some "good" news- i have three right numbers on my lottery ticket  so i at least won my money back... also i found some battery chargers on eBay which end next week- i might bid on one if they stay cheap (cross fingers). so yeah sorry for the bad quality pictures again and the uncreative outfit. i promise once i can charge my SLR i will take some better ones.

Sunday Delights

Happy Sunday my loves- i hope you are all having a nice relaxing time today! as for me i am cleaning out my wardrobe a little (again- it's actually pretty big) and i found a lot of clothes from my old days which i am so going to sell on eBay today. 

i really like this leopard cardigan - i remember when i did my nails after this design... oh so nice. i really have to grow my finger nails back to their old glory. but in winter they are so super weak for some reason :( do you know a trick?

yesterday i made brownies. oh they were sooo tasty. i really should diet instead of eating so much sweet stuff but that's the only thing that keeps me going these days. so much to study for my upcoming exams... boooh! so yeah i should go and start my eBay auctions and go back to my desk and study a little. 

How Was My Week 3

Hello hello! my week was so boring actually. i did nothing exciting at all. and from next week on i really have to study a lot for my upcoming exams. today i got almost a shock when i saw that it was snowing big fat snowflakes earlier on but thank god the snow melted at once. i really can not be bothered with snow anymore. way too cold! why can't it be Spring already? also i really hate hate hate my cheap camera. i tried to find a new charger for my SLR camera but they don't have it for this old model and i don't want a fake one from some cheap brand. i really need to get this problem sorted out very soon. otherwise i might just destroy this little camera because it annoys me. so. much. i'm awful sorry for the terrible picture quality :(

oh i really HATE this camera! 

here i am wearing the camel version from the skirt i wore in my last post. i'm so glad i bought it in all colours! it has the perfect length and is so comfortable. 

today i got on eBay and got this wonderful Louche dress that i posted about (it was sold out) and i got it for unbelievable 10€ including postage. sometimes i am so lucky on eBay hehe i can't wait for it to arrive. 

so yeah i hope your week was all good and that you will have a nice relaxing weekend. i think i will do some baking and will think of a new camera. 

When Will It Be Spring Again?

I feel like winter is never going to end. i really long for some warmer lighter days. today was again one of those days where you can't tell what time of the day it is. so grey and dark. and just when i got back from uni it started to rain.  actually! today i was so late for uni because for some weird reason i was sure my lecture starts at 11. but it does always start at 10. when i realised that (it hit me like a lightning when i put one and one together) i got ready within five minutes (inclusive make up) that's why i pretty much look like a mess today.

i went to the Zara store again (i think i'm addicted to their sale! i swear i also wear other things! not only Zara) and i got this skirt in rust, camel and black. it was only 5€ and i would had been an idiot not to get them all. i also found some really cute shoes that i might get if they will reduce them again... i think they would be perfect for summer with white socks (so last season but i don't care).

Rainy Day

Today is such a rainy dark day. i really don't want to go out but i have to go to the post office and finally send away the things i sold on eBay. besides that my day is nothing interesting. tomorrow i have to go to my pathophysiology lecture. how about you? i hope you day is a little more exciting than mine is.

I'll Be Forever Blue

Today (or yesterday?) was blue Monday. weird but i really felt like everyone was in a bad mood today. as for me it was the usual. i kept humming Erasure "little respect" song all day. i also wore this Primark Peter Pan collar dress that i got before Christmas for bargalicious 11€!!! the bag is H&M but i think i will sell it on eBay since i don't really like the fake leather. hope you had a nice blue Monday or did you experience the blues today?

My Little Piece Of Vintage

Happy Sunday everyone! i'm glad the rain stopped here for now. the Lippe River in my town is actually over flooded- it looks quite scary! i hope it will get better soon. 

anyway. a little while ago my mom gave me one of her tweed blazers on which she sew a very old mink collar that she got from an old lady. i think it looks darling and i really can't wait to wear it in spring. i think one of my favorite spring colours is minty green ♥

How Was My Week 2

Hello there! i hope your week was all good as was mine. on Monday i wemt to Ikea with my mom where i saw like the cutest wardrobe ever but unfortunately i can't get it for my apartment since i  live in the attic and there a no straight walls. fml!
Tuesday i think i went to a mall in Oberhausen which was a big disappointment since they didn't have what i was looking for.
Wednesday i tidied my apartment a little and on Thursday i had to go back to uni. i had to get up at 5 am and it sucked so much. i was tired all day and fell asleep during my physiology lecture. even though i was really tired i decided to check the Zara shops in Düsseldorf (they have 3 there) and i bought oh so much! on Friday i had my anatomy lecture which was quite okay and again went to a Zara shop (this time in Essen) where i bought a sailor cardigan and a red Skirt.

Hey everyone! i'm really sorry for the lack of posts lately. i lost the charger for my camera and now i can't take any pictures! i actually wanted to start a Give Away yesterday but i decided i will do that some time next week. if i find the charger that is! i remember giving it to my brother so it must be somewhere in his apartment! if not then i'm really screwed. i can't use my little camera anymore it just sucks way too much. i think i will get the new Canon EOS 600D as soon as it comes out. it's time for a nice new camera anyway. i heard it's going to be out in February next year so i have a little time to save some money. anyway.

how have you all been? here it's snowing and ice cold! i really don't like this kind of weather when i have to go out. i mean if i could sit next to the fire and drink a hot chocolate all the time i really would not mind the snow that much but because i have to travel by public transport ... it is a nightmare! everything is delayed all the time. my feet get cold. even everything in my bag gets cold. oh and i still haven't started my Christmas shopping yet! i think i will do that after uni on Wednesday. 

tomorrow i actually am going to the hairdressers. finally. i think i will cut a good bit off my hair because it just got too long for me. it's a nightmare to style it. but i might become chicken when it's time to cut it... i'm quite sentimental with my hair lol. plus my mom always says it's better to have long hair than short (easy for her to say with her really short hair!).

i should go now and search for that camera charger!

today was such a lazy day for me. i had to get up at 5am to get to uni and when i got there i found out that i didn't have to go to that lecture and could have stayed in bed!!! 

when i got home my ASOS dress finally arrived (i had to send my first order back because it was huge on me- the german sizing on the ASOS website is way too big! i have to order 2 sizes smaller than i would buy in a shop here- they should really work on that or just stay with UK sizing). after trying it on i went for a little nap and talked to my BF on skype.

the outfit above was an attempt to create an outfit from the intro of one of my favorite childhood cartoons "Hallo Kurt" (in german = hello Kurt) i think it's originally japanese and is called "おはよう!スパンク". 

really have to get a navy ribbon and some cute knee socks. i think they are lovely! how are you guys all doing? looking forward to the weekend? i totally am. finally some sleep and no train rides.

Back To Uni Outfit And....

♥ Hello my dearest kitten readers! i'm in such a good mood today. you want to know why? well my BF just booked his flight here for christmas so i'm gonna see him for 10 days! oh i'm so excited and happy to spend christmas and new year with him again- i've been smiling and dancing since he told me haha. thankfully i'm good at multi tasking so while dancing around i also got my uni outfit for tomorrow sorted and packed my bag. but oh i'm so excited i can't stop smiling tonight :)

today it was freezing cold! so cold that my father agreed to turn the heating on (which he only does when it's REALLY cold) and if it's gonna be this cold tomorrow i'm going to wear my Rocket Dog "Gear" clog boots. they look much better when worn and make such a small foot. and are so cute inside. however, if it's gonna be warmer than today then i might just end up with my River Island brogues. 

i'm going to wear this necklace that i made myself. well. i bought the fish in the museum gift shop (the one where my mother works- see here) and a leather band and that was it!

also painted my nails with Models Own "purple mystique" and an Essence glitter top coat. (ring by h&m - old)

i packed my good old reliable George, Gina & Lucy bag (haha so preppy) and here is what i'm taking with me. it's not much at all - i know! but i have a very short day tomorrow with cell biology and pathophysiology. anyway- i feel so organised now and look forward to christmas hehe. how was your day? did you start school/uni recently too? how was it? tell me all about it ♥

Sunday Outfit + Attack Of The Butterflies

Today was a lovely day as you may have noticed from my earlier entry. and i decided to spend some time in the lovely garden with my cat when we suddently were attacked by loads of butterflies. well... ok ... attacked is  strong word for it. but a lot of them flew towards my head (probably because my hair smelled yummi today thanks to my Aussie Hair conditioner and spray). i think the butterflies tried to cherish this very warm sunny day and they were collecting nectar and sun bathing. to be honest i was a little scared of them at first but the more time i spent with the butterflies the more i started to like them. my cat likes them too. to eat that is! i caught one for her just to show her and she immediately ate it! ewww! i wish i hadn't caught the poor thing :( i felt terrible! i'm a pacifist when it gets to any living being. i'm even too frightened to kill a fly or a nasty spider (well i'm terrified of spiders so i'd never get near one anyway). but i'm drifting off with my post - sorry about that. so here is what i wore today and pictures of the different butterflies i saw. oh and mushrooms my father picked in the forest today (they were delicious!)

Seven Days Of Scottish Autumn

I did it! i made whole outfits for my seven day stay in scotland. because i tend to take way too many clothes without even wearing half of it i thought it might be a good idea to prepare everything BEFORE packing and i must say- i'm quite proud of myself for having it all covered:

Soooo.... i actually enjoyed myself so much putting those outfits together that i have even more outfits but they are a little unfinished because half my things have been drying after been washed. i will show you them tomorrow. i also haven't pulled off my travel outfit yet but i know that i definitely want to wear my little bow tie ( i got it on sale at h&m for 1€)

actually thinking about wearing a short sleeved white blouse with a black V-neck jumper and some black shorts with black tights. but that would mean i have to get some tights and shorts tomorrow because i don't own a pair of plain black shorts (!). i also don't know what coat i should take with me (will show you tomorrow between what to decide)

oh and have i mentioned how much i love my hall stand? it's so organising! really lovely and look how i put the top/skirt hangers together:

cute isn't it? also, when i described the outfits i realised i have quite a bunch of h&m clothes there! very weird because i thought i wasn't shopping that much h&m. i guess it's mostly small things like tights and accessories  but what would be an outfit without those right?
