tomorrow i have so much to sort out with my dorm room and i want to sell a few things on eBay. might as well go to Ikea and buy this (btw it's cheaper in Germany! only 149€) chest of drawer and another clothes stand (is that the right word?). i'm so excited to move. but a look at my uni timetable vanishes all the excitement immediately as i have  lectures from 8.30am to mostly 4pm. on some days even longer. sigh!

Oh My...

... i'm so sorry for my long hiatus! there was so much to do and i was absolutely not in the mood to blog. so much has happened though and now i feel the need to share at least a little bit with you. 

i was in Bath over the weekend. and i must say it was such a nice trip. Bath is such a beautiful town. to be honest i consider it the most beautiful place in the UK that i have visited but that's just me i guess haha. the weather was also wonderful. so sunny! i love the sun. hopefully spring will arrive soon as i absolutely can't wait for it anymore. 

a nice long post will follow as soon as i beat my cold (been ill for over a week now- and i don't think my long journey to Bath helped there- i had to go by train to Amsterdam and took then a plane to Bristol- but oh so worth it).

yeah i hope you are all winning like Charlie Sheen. 

When Will It Be Spring Again?

I feel like winter is never going to end. i really long for some warmer lighter days. today was again one of those days where you can't tell what time of the day it is. so grey and dark. and just when i got back from uni it started to rain.  actually! today i was so late for uni because for some weird reason i was sure my lecture starts at 11. but it does always start at 10. when i realised that (it hit me like a lightning when i put one and one together) i got ready within five minutes (inclusive make up) that's why i pretty much look like a mess today.

i went to the Zara store again (i think i'm addicted to their sale! i swear i also wear other things! not only Zara) and i got this skirt in rust, camel and black. it was only 5€ and i would had been an idiot not to get them all. i also found some really cute shoes that i might get if they will reduce them again... i think they would be perfect for summer with white socks (so last season but i don't care). 

hope you are all well and that the weather is somehow better where you stay. 

Rainy Day

Today is such a rainy dark day. i really don't want to go out but i have to go to the post office and finally send away the things i sold on eBay. besides that my day is nothing interesting. tomorrow i have to go to my pathophysiology lecture. how about you? i hope you day is a little more exciting than mine is.

Where I Live

Hello cuties! today i want to show you the town i live in. the town is called Lünen. it's quite small and my family and i moved here about three years ago from Dortmund. the city centre has a lot of cute old buildings and there is also a river called "Lippe"

What I Got For Christmas

I guess i'm a little late with this post but better late than never right? so yeah this year my loved ones really spoiled me. i got some wonderful Bobbi Brown make up, the Gucci by Gucci perfume (smells wonderful!), and clothes.  i treated myself a Bobbi Brown lipgloss in "Rosy".

i can totally recommend to go to a Bobbi Brown shop and get some professional advice to what make up suits you the best. the lady there told me i am a "Snow White" type (which really flattered me) and i should use very soft colours when it comes to make up. i also found out that i am pretty much the lightest type of skin- which surprised me- i always considered myself quite tan, even in Winter.

Happy New Year...

It's been a while! i am really sorry for the Hiatus. i had some little issues to work through. so how was your New Years Eve? i went to a Club with my Brother in Wuppertal. it was so much fun but i think i drank a little too much lol. fell down on the icy streets a few times and now my whole body is covered in HUGE bruises - i guess that's what you get for wearing heels when the roads are basically an ice rink. i wore some shorts that night that i bought at Vila for 34.95€ and i really like them. also wore some Zara TRF shoes that i got in the sale (oh i love the Zara Sale!) 

yesterday i finally got my little Zara Satchel bag that i have been eyeing for so long! it was reduced from 50€ to 30€. but i was a little shocked when i saw how small it actually is. however i still love it and am going to wear it as much as i can. 

i also got a package from L'Oreal yesterday. i was really surprised by what i could had been so i opened it with a big excitement and look what i got? some hair dye that is not out here in the shops yet! awesome (sorry for the dark photobooth picture -it was very dark when i took it)

i think i will dye my hair as soon as the dark brown washes out a little. since it's almost spring (a girl can dream can't she?!) it's time for a little lighter hair anyway. i really like this shade it's called "pure light brown". but i guess we will see how it turns out on my hair.

oh i have so much more to share with you lovelies (i got some great Christmas presents) but i am afraid that camera charger still hasn't showed up and i am too lazy and broke to get a new one. also that other camera is really killing me- if you ever get yourself a camera make sure it's not a Samsung! i've never had a worse camera than that. 

so anyway i hope you all had a lovely Holiday time and stick to your New Years resolutions ;) 

Friday Haul

Happy Friday everyone! today i decided to go shopping after uni and ended up in the new Primark store in Gelsenkirchen. it is one of the very little german Primark shops but i think next year they are going to open one in my hometown. i actually didn't buy too much because i went to Zara in Essen before and bought a lovely black skirt and also stopped at H&M where i bought a nice bowler hat and a blouse (the same one that i have in pink and black) on sale. 

at Primark i went for the tights which were 3€ and 2€ (very good pricetag!) and the very cute plaid dress. it also has a Peter Pan collar- adorable! i will wear it with my Fearne Cotton for Very blouse. 

after that shopping trip i met with my mom after her work and we went trought Dortmund city centre a little where i bought some hair dye (going to dye it tomorrow) and some Nails.Inc nail polish- i will show you some swatches as soon as i have grown my fingernails back.

i'm very sorry for the terrible pictures - i haven't found my cameras charger and had to take the pictures with my bad camera :( - hopefully i will find the charger otherwise i might have to buy a new one ... 

have you bought anything cool recently too?

i actually bought this NW3 dress on eBay for only 30£ new with tags last week and i plan to wear it on Christmas. i think i should also get some emerald green eyeshadow and some grey pearls (i saw some at my moms museum shop).

Monday Hair

Hello Hello happy Monday! today i went to the hairdressers and that's how it turned out. i'm quite happy with the length but i think i really need to dye it brighter. oh and awesome news! tomorrow i am going with my parents to France. to Metz to be precise. i can't wait although we will have to leave the house at 6 am (it's a 4 hour drive there). i read that Metz has the 2nd biggest french Christmas Market. hopefully it will be as good as the one in my hometown.

Zara Satchel

I know i know... Zara- again! but look at this satchel! it is so lovely and it was the only one in the shop. it's from the TRF collection and the price tag says 39.95€. if only i had some money left on my bank but for this month i'm completely broke :( 

hopefully it will be still there on december 1st.

today was a real tough day for me. i had to get up at 4.40 am (yes A.M.!) to be in time for my physiology exam. i thought it would be clever to stay up all night and drank a lot of coke and ate candy but at midnight i was like "why am i doing this? i want to sleep" but obviously i couldn't fall asleep yet felt terribly tired so don't do that at home kids. absolutely not worth it. but the bright side about it is i got off very early so i took some time to look through the Dortmund city centre (which honestly is so pathetic! i wish we had some good shops over here... as far as i know there is going to be a grand opening of a big shopping mall next year in winter with a Primark and rumors say also a Forever21. we will see how that will turn out.

Monday Love: Interpol!

Hello lovelies! i know it's Tuesday but yesterday i went to the Interpol concert in Dortmund. and it was so awesome but way too short. i had the feeling the pre bands played longer than Interpol itself! but i don't care. Interpol is my absolute favorite band and i love love love Paul Banks (who wore glasses last night?). in fact all of the guys at the concert wore glasses and the same clothes as Paul (plaid shirt). was it a coincidence? my brother went with me even though he had no idea what kind of music they play so that was really nice. i think i converted him to become a fan too.

i was ALMOST front stage but there was a really big woman who took all the space and was really cheeky about it (all the time she put her butt in my body- i felt really uncomfortable) so i went to the side but i still saw everything. and i think Paul saw me too and now he probably can't stop thinking about me (a girl can dream can't she?). oh and Daniel waved at me! he is so cute :D

anyway. i realised i badly need a new little camera- that pink Samsung is awful! i hate it and will send it back because the quality is terrible and it already has some black spots at the screen. 

anyone can recommend a nice little camera? not too expensive... perhaps maximum 200-250€? i'd be really thankful.

Monday Collars

Hello everyone!

i'm so sorry for the lack of posts lately! the day always seems way too short and i hardly get everything done i want to :(

but today i went with my mother a little shopping. i finally bought a dirty laundry basket it is green shreek! but i found an old pillow case at home and customised it a little and i think it looks rather cute now!

on the weekend i bought this really nice Zara cardigan in camel and an adorable H&M cardigan with pink flowers (love it!)

also added 3 new nail polished from Essence to my collection. i will show you some swatches when my nails look a little better. due all the uni stress my nails just look terrible! i tend to rip them when i feel nervous :( but i bought some vitamins which will hopefully help my nails and hair to grow healthy. 

i love bows and i'm sure a lot of you do too right? i bought a red and pink ribbon for my hair. the pink one i will actually cut in two so i can wear them with pigtails hehe. ah i'm so girlie...

i also found some very nice laces which i will make collars from. i think i will just attach them with a nice brooch (i saw a lovely vintage one with a kitten in a shop in Dortmund the other day for 20€ and i think i will ask Santa to get it for me). the "collars" were 75 cents each so i think that's quite a bargain and it will look amazing. 

i wish i knew how to crotched! i think i would only make collars all day hahaha and people would call me the crazy crotched lady.

hope you all had a nice weekend and a good start in the week? did anything exciting happen? the weekend here was extremly stormy and it was raining all the time. non stop! i think i had enough rain for the next 10 years... 

Monday Cheer Ups

Yesterday was like the coldest day in this autumn season so far and i had to walk to the train station (20min) in the rain with no umbrella... so no surprise i am having a cold today :(

but the postman cheered me up a little when he delivered my so longed green Topshop tunic and also something else...
